The Buddy Program was started as a program where an older grade links with a younger grade to do different activities. The older ones help with projects, read to the students and play games.

The 8th grade will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and 2nd grade receives two sacraments: Reconciliation and Eucharist. They encourage and pray for each other. Sometimes the 8th graders will share how excited they were when they were in the 2nd grade to receive Reconciliation and Eucharist. The 2nd graders like to learn about how the 8th graders prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.

As they move up, so do their buddies. So, from Pre-K to 3rd they are the younger students. Then, in the 4th grade they become the older students. The kids enjoy linking up with the same students and to see them grow and learn together.
